Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026 · SyncAgency LLC
This policy explains what SyncAgency LLC does with personal data in connection with this website and the Kimro application for iPhone.
Kimro is not yet released. Today this site is the only thing we operate publicly. The sections describing the application explain how it is built and will apply from the day it is available.
1. Who is responsible
SyncAgency LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, United States (Business ID 0008090888), is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@kimro.app.
2. Screen Time data
Kimro does not collect, transmit, store or process any Screen Time data. This is a structural property of the app, not only a policy commitment.
- Kimro uses Apple’s Family Controls, ManagedSettings and DeviceActivity frameworks. Apple hands the app opaque tokens rather than app identities: inside Kimro, the bundle identifier and display name of a restricted app are unavailable. We could not transmit them if we wanted to.
- No application token, category token or web domain token ever leaves your device.
- Your selection of restricted apps and categories is stored only in the app’s local container on your device. It is not uploaded to us, not synced through our servers and not shared with anyone.
- No usage duration, app name or bundle identifier is transmitted to us or to any third party.
- No Screen Time data is used for advertising, profiling or analytics. Kimro serves no advertising of any kind.
- No third-party SDK is linked into the blocking extensions, and those extensions make no network requests.
3. This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising pixel and embeds no third-party script, font or image. Nothing on the page is fetched from a domain other than our own.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, requested URL, user-agent string) for a short period, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
4. What the app will process
Once Kimro is released, our servers will hold only:
- Account identity — the identifier you sign in with, and an email address where one is provided.
- Completed focus sessions — their duration and the time they ended.
- Your credit balance and the ledger entries that produced it.
- Subscription status, as reported to us by Apple. We never receive your payment card details.
None of this reveals which applications you restrict, or how you use your device.
5. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To provide the service — keeping your balance, your sessions and your subscription state consistent across launches and devices. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To keep the service secure — preventing abuse, fraud and automated attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
- To meet legal obligations — accounting and tax records relating to subscriptions. Legal basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
6. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract. The categories of recipients are:
- cloud hosting and content delivery providers;
- managed database and backup providers;
- transactional email delivery providers;
- Apple Inc., which processes subscription payments and reports entitlement status to us.
We will name the specific providers on request. We do not disclose personal data to anyone else except where we are legally required to.
7. Where data is processed
Our infrastructure is operated in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
8. How long we keep it
- Account and ledger data: for as long as your account exists.
- After you delete your account: erased within 30 days, except for records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.
- Server logs: a short retention period, typically 30 days.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these, write to support@kimro.app. We answer within one month.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
10. Children
Kimro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. In the EEA the minimum age is 16 unless local law sets it lower. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
